Location

  • How to find the campsite?

    Camping Arc en Ciel is located in Vallon Pont d’Arc, Ardèche, just a few minutes from the village center and major tourist routes. GPS coordinates can be entered directly into your navigation app for a smooth and precise journey.

  • How far is the nearest train station?

    The nearest SNCF train station is in Montélimar, about fifty kilometers from the campsite. From the station, it is possible to rent a vehicle or take a transport service to reach Vallon Pont d’Arc. A car journey takes approximately one hour depending on traffic.

  • Is the campsite far from Pont d’Arc?

    The famous Pont d’Arc is only a few kilometers from the campsite. By car, it takes about five to ten minutes to reach this iconic natural site. It is also possible to get there by bike or as part of a canoe trip down the Ardèche starting from the campsite.

Arrival / Departure

  • What are the arrival and departure days?

    For pitches: you can arrive or depart any day.

    For rentals: in low season, you can arrive or depart any day. In high season, arrivals and departures are on Wednesdays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    For pitches: check-ins are from 1 PM and check-outs until noon.

    For cottages: check-ins are from 4 PM and check-outs between 8 AM and 10 AM.

  • What to do in case of late arrival?

    Guests who may arrive after reception closing hours for exceptional reasons are requested to call +33 (0)4 75 88 04 65 during reception opening hours to inform us of their late arrival and, if possible, arrange a late check-in.

My accommodation / my pitch

  • Are sheets provided in the rentals?

    Sheets and towels are included in the Calys**** cottages.

    You can bring your own or rent them on-site for €18/sheet kit and €12/towel kit (1 large and 1 small).

  • Are the rentals equipped with duvets or blankets?

    Each accommodation is equipped with duvets or blankets suitable for the number of beds provided. You will have everything you need for comfortable nights.

  • Are the rentals equipped with a heating system?

    Most accommodations have a heating system, allowing for a comfortable stay in spring or late season. Specific equipment details are provided in the description of each rental.

  • Are the accommodations equipped with a TV?

    Some mobile homes are equipped with a television. It is recommended to check this information when choosing your accommodation, as equipment may vary depending on the range.

  • Do you offer baby kits? At what price? What does it include?

    A baby kit can be offered as an option, generally consisting of a travel cot and a high chair, at a rate of €6/night, with a maximum of 7 nights charged.
    The mattress is not provided with the travel cot.

  • Are babies included in the accommodation's capacity?

    Yes, babies are included in the maximum capacity for each accommodation. It is therefore important to mention them when booking to ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Can I book two accommodations side by side?

    It is possible to request two accommodations close to each other. This request is taken into account subject to availability and organizational constraints.

  • Can I choose the number of my rental or pitch?

    Yes, subject to campsite availability. In July/August, a €30 supplement is required for pitch selection.

  • Are the terraces covered?

    Many rentals have a terrace, partially or fully covered depending on the model. This information is included in the detailed description of each accommodation.

  • Is a deposit required upon arrival?

    Yes, a deposit is generally required upon your arrival for rentals. It can be paid by credit card or check according to the current terms. It is returned after the departure inventory, provided no damage is found.

  • Is end-of-stay cleaning included?

    End-of-stay cleaning is not systematically included in the price. It can be done by you or booked as an option for an additional fee. Specific conditions are indicated during booking.

  • Are the pitches shaded?

    Most pitches benefit from a wooded environment offering shade and coolness during the season. Some are sunnier than others, and it is possible to indicate a preference when booking.

My booking

  • When is my booking firm and final?

    Your booking becomes firm and final upon receipt of the deposit and after written confirmation from the campsite. You will then receive a summary document officially validating your stay.

  • Do you accept holiday vouchers?

    The campsite accepts ANCV holiday vouchers for full or partial payment of the stay, according to current terms.

  • When and how should I pay the balance of my stay?

    The balance must be paid before your arrival, at the latest one month before the start of your stay. Payment terms are specified in the booking confirmation.

  • Can I modify my booking?

    A modification can be considered subject to availability and according to the general terms and conditions of sale. It is advisable to contact reception as soon as possible to explore the possibilities.

  • If we choose to extend our stay on-site, is that possible?

    An extension is possible depending on current availability. Please contact reception during your stay to check feasibility.

  • What if we choose to leave earlier than planned?

    In case of early departure, unused nights remain due in accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale, unless covered by specific insurance.

Cancellation Insurance

  • Do you recommend taking out cancellation insurance?

    Taking out cancellation insurance is recommended to protect yourself against unforeseen events that may jeopardize your stay. It offers valuable security when booking.

  • What are the main reasons covered by cancellation insurance?

    The main guarantees generally cover serious illnesses, accidents, hospitalizations, or major family events preventing departure. Specific conditions are detailed in the proposed insurance contract.

Pets

  • Are pets allowed?

    Pets are accepted under certain conditions, particularly regarding leashing and up-to-date vaccination records, with a supplement of €7/night. It is essential to declare their presence when booking.

    Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted.

On-site

  • What payment methods are accepted by the campsite?

    Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, cash, or holiday vouchers.

  • Are barbecues allowed?

    Only gas barbecues are allowed.

  • Does the price include access to the water park?

    Yes, access to the water park is included in the price of your stay, with no extra charge.

  • Is the water park heated?

    The main pool benefits from a system that maintains a pleasant temperature during the season, ensuring optimal comfort for holidaymakers.

  • Are swimming shorts allowed?

    For hygiene reasons, only classic swimsuits are allowed in the aquatic area. Swimming shorts and board shorts are not permitted.

  • Does the campsite have Wi-Fi?

    Wi-Fi connection is offered and available for an additional charge for more devices (inquire at reception for rates).

  • Is there a grocery store or catering service on-site?

    During the season, the campsite offers a catering point and practical services to make daily life easier for holidaymakers. This allows you to fully enjoy your stay without having to systematically take the car.

  • Is the campsite secured at night?

    Access to the domain is regulated, and entries are controlled to ensure the tranquility of holidaymakers. Traffic is limited in the evening to preserve peace and quiet.

  • Are external visitors allowed?

    Access for visitors is subject to a fee (please inquire at reception).

  • Can vehicles park on the pitch?

    One vehicle is generally allowed per pitch or rental. Dedicated parking may be offered for additional vehicles.

  • Is the campsite suitable for families with young children?

    Yes, Camping Arc en Ciel is particularly suitable for family stays. Its natural environment, proximity to the Ardèche river, aquatic areas, and dedicated facilities allow both parents and children to fully enjoy their holidays in Vallon Pont d’Arc.
